Animal Farm

It has been crazy at my house in the last few days. I was lying in bed about 2 am Monday morning and I heard a cat meow. We don't have a cat, so I thought that I was losing my mind. It drove me insane. Monday night when I got home from InnerG, there was a kitten on my front porch. My brother picked her up out of the middle of the road and brought her home on Sunday. So, the good news is that I haven't lost my mind yet. My dad doesn't like cats, so we can't keep her. Derrick is going to take her. He better hurry, because I am getting really attached. Last night she accidentally got in the house and made a mess... Uh, oh. My parents weren't too happy.

The dog that Heather found is also going to a new home. It is going to live with my grandpa in Alabama. Derrick and I are doing the animal switcharoo tomorrow. Then, things will be back to normal for a day or so anyway. I am just glad that they both will be going to good homes.

God is great... just thought that I would share. He answered my prayer about the driver's license and now, he has answered the prayer about a job. I start work next week at Gainesville College in the Humanities Office. YAY...now I can put gas in the car, pay insurance and buy all of my peeps Christmas presents. It's amazing how God always provides...Jehovah Jireh.

I am going to Jekyll Island this weeked... BSU retreat.. lots of fun, except the 7 hour ride on a cramped, loud, hot charter bus. Oh well, things could be worse. Then, it has a potty that makes you nauseous. An enclosed moving space, not a good thing.
